Welcome
This site has been set up to enable the sharing of resources by electrical lecturers and the access to those resources by electrical students. There is no registration needed, all resources are absolutely free to access under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-Share Alike 3.0 Unported Licence, which essestially means anyone can use, change, pinch anything they like as long as they do not make money from doing so.
why create this site?
For the last few years, the recruitment of electricians into electrical lecturing, especially the installation aspect, has been very difficult. For that reason, many electricians enter teaching roles knowing very little about the best methods of delivery and have nothing in the way of teaching resources. This website will hopefully redress the balance.
contributions
Although I am setting this site up as an individual, I am more than happy to recieve contributions to put on the site. Perhaps you recall your first day teaching where no one would share any resources with you and want to change this happening to new people entering the teaching game or perhaps you think you have developed some excellent resources and want to share them with the world? Whatever way you look at it, there will be hundreds of grateful lecturers and thousands of even more grateful students.
UPDATE: As of December 2009, I have not had one single contribution to this site from anybody at all. I am sure that people are producing bits and pieces, and I am also sure that not everyone has the same ethos as the last generation of lecturers so come on people, lets get this site moving. There has been over 6gb of downloads so someone must be using the information.
